Impressively large fish tank for a wall showpiece- custom made in BAULKHAM HILLS, New South Wales for sale
Well i am sorry to say this item has been sitting around too long, when I worked with fish this was priceless but apart from checking for leaks has not been filled for months.
What you get is a Great Quality hand made custom merantti stand WHICH YOU WONT FIND ELSEWHERE (MERANTI=HARDWOOD, not easy to work with but worksmanship is generally good), which makes it special and different from every other tank you will find. The background also makes it look great.
dalbarb glass tank 2ft high, 1.5ft deep and 6ft long a couple of lids have been broken while moving from previous location, apart from that its great quality and an oppurtunity to wow your friends and get something truly unique. below is a website whos company makes the tank. excellent quality

6ft double fluorescent light with dual ballasts (2 remote switches which havent been used much- 1 for each set of lights (2x3ft each for a total of 4 3ft lights to see your fish oeprfectly). all lights are in good condition and have lots of life left. they are aquarium fluorescent tubes, not the cheap type from bunnings etc. They give the proper colours to your fish.
This isnt really for someone on a tight budget or someone who just wants to hide it away. It is more like a showpiece for a room or workplace than anything else. For a small fee I can maintain it for the buyer every fortnight and/or teach the buyer a whole lot I know from more than 5 years in retail aquariums

Nothing really to do with this tank is cheap and the background and stand alone is all you would get for the price at a store (maybe more or less it depends) but unfortunately I need to see it go at some point.
materials alone were well over $400+for the stand and alot of man hours put into it from building the most sturdy stand you will find to the lacquer finish. You wont find a better stand in a shop, at the moment its a bit dusty as its been sitting in storage unused but cleaned up it looks beautiful, really. I loved it but it has to go, really. was once a prized possession.
tank also has a latex rock background installed (fully siliconed in place) which looks great. Latex is a plastic which gives the impression of rock
price is slightly negotiable, but really this tank belongs to someone who appreciates what it is
you will need a truck or a trailer. I can take one end of the tank and stand when transporting, someone has to take the other
I believe the tank holds approx 450-500 litres of water when full. It is either 10mm or 12mm glass, I cant remember but its not 6mm definately. Thick strong glass.

For a nice buyer I would be happy to give free advice or to maintain the tank. This tank is for someone who has money like I did when I bought the tank. PLEASE DONT TAKE OFFENCE TO THIS. I would hate to see this tank in poor shape and not show its potential for anyone who forks out money to buy it.
